Fix WordPress PHP 8 Compatibility

Job ID: 40258215

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

My host is holding my site on PHP 7.4 because one or more themes or plugins fail under PHP 8+. I want to move to at least PHP 8.1—without losing a pixel of design or a line of functionality.

The site runs WordPress with WPBakery as the page builder. I need an expert who can work methodically in a staging copy, isolate every incompatible component, bring each one up to date (or replace it cleanly), then push the upgrade to production once all tests pass.

Deliverables
• A brief report listing the themes/plugins that were incompatible and how each was resolved
• Fully functioning staging site on PHP 8.1/8.2 with no PHP warnings, fatal errors, or layout breaks (front-end and back-end)
• Production site switched to PHP 8+ with identical design, forms, and any dynamic features working exactly as before
• Post-deployment check confirming error-free logs for 24 hours

Acceptance criteria
– No visible changes in styling or content compared to the current live site
– Core pages, contact forms, and any e-commerce or interactive elements load without errors
– WordPress dashboard remains fully usable, including WPBakery editor
– Server error log stays clean after go-live

Please bring proven experience in PHP version jumps, deep WordPress debugging, and safe staging workflows so the transition is seamless for my visitors.
