Fix WO WONDER Archive Feed Issue

Job ID: 39589661

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

We are using the WoWonder PHP social network script, and we are currently experiencing an issue with the News Feed / Post Feed not displaying archived posts.

The script is set to archive old posts (via cronjob) into a separate table called T_POSTS_ARCHIVE. However, once posts are archived, they no longer show in the main news feed for users. The feed appears empty with only the welcome message (“Welcome to your News Feed! Say Hello!”), despite the posts existing in the archive table.

-What We Know:
Archiving is enabled and the cron job is running:
*/5 * * * * curl https://sitenamewillbeprovided.com/cron-job.php &>/dev/null
Last cron run was: 05-07-2025 08:15:02 (We’re not sure if it's running continuously)

Archived posts exist in the database (T_POSTS_ARCHIVE)
Live feed queries seem to only pull from the T_POSTS table, not the archive table

We are non-technical, so we need someone to handle this end-to-end

-What We Need You To Do:
Diagnose and confirm the cause of archived posts not appearing in the user feed

Update the feed logic (e.g., Wo_GetPosts() or relevant function) to display both live and archived posts in the correct order

Ensure no loss of data, feed remains fast, and UI remains unaffected
If needed, update or fix the cron job so archiving works properly
Provide a brief explanation of what was fixed in case we need future updates

-Requirements:
Experience with WoWonder PHP script is strongly preferred
Must understand PHP, MySQL, and cron job troubleshooting
Ability to deliver quickly and test the fix live (we can give access)
Keep backup of anything before editing

Access Info:
We can provide:
