I have a small HTML / JavaScript type-practice site that switches between English and Tamil99 layouts. The English mode is rock solid, but Tamil99 stumbles: the on-screen keyboard only sporadically highlights the next key, correct keystrokes are still flagged as errors, and the finger guide points to the wrong place. I test exclusively in the latest Google Chrome, and the browser console stays clean; the only “errors” are the incorrect visual highlights inside the exercise panel and its metrics.
All I need is a straight bug-fix pass—no new features or cosmetic tweaks—so Tamil99 behaves exactly like English. Keep the code lightweight and vanilla unless a tiny helper library is truly unavoidable.
