Fix Firebase Web Upload

My web app’s photo upload flow connects to Firebase Storage, yet files never make it to the bucket and no error is thrown in the console. I need someone to jump in, pinpoint the root cause, and get uploads working reliably again.

What I can share: current Storage rules, the JavaScript that handles file selection → put(), and the relevant Firebase config. You’ll trace the request, verify MIME handling, progress callbacks, rules, CORS, and any quota or token issues, then deliver a clean fix and a short note explaining what was wrong so I can avoid a repeat.
