Finalize & Enhance Bolt Website
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
My site is already mostly built in Bolt.new but it still feels unfinished.
I need an experienced web developer to help me bring it to a polished, production-ready state. The focus is three-fold: refine the look, extend the functionality, and make everything run faster.
1. User-interface overhaul
• Remodel the homepage layout so it guides visitors naturally to key content.
• Rework the navigation menu for clearer, quicker access on both desktop and mobile.
• Apply a consistent, modern aesthetic across all pages while respecting the brand palette and typography already in place. CSS and Twig adjustments will be needed, and I’m open to small design tweaks if they improve usability.
2. New features
I marked “Add new features” because a few gaps remain. I haven’t locked anything in yet, so I’d value your recommendations. Possibilities include a lightweight user-account system, on-site search, or interactive elements that improve engagement without slowing things down. The code should follow Bolt best practices so future updates stay easy.
3. Performance optimisation
Enable caching, refine database queries, compress assets—whatever it takes to keep page loads snappy. Please benchmark the site before and after your work so we have clear numbers on the gains.
Acceptance criteria
• Revamped homepage and navigation signed off in staging.
• Core templates validated for cross-browser and mobile responsiveness.
• At least one new feature delivered, fully tested, and documented.
• GTmetrix or Lighthouse score shows a measurable improvement over the current baseline.
• All code pushed to the existing Git repository with concise commit messages.
