Ferry Schedules & Beach Conditions Interactive Pages (Formentera)
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I’m building a tourism platform focused on Formentera, and I’m looking for a Bubble.io developer (no code-based development) to help me implement two specific data-driven pages:
- Ferry schedules
- Beaches page with map + weather conditions
Important:
This project must be done entirely in Bubble.io.
I’m not looking for coded solutions (React, Laravel, custom backend, etc.) and not looking for UI-only design work (Figma, PSD). The priority is functional implementation, workflows, and API integrations in Bubble.
The platform already exists. This is not a project from scratch.
1. Ferry Schedules Page (Ibiza ↔ Formentera)
Goal: show clear and reliable ferry schedules for users planning their trip.
Scope & priorities
- Main priority: 3 ferry companies operating between Ibiza and Formentera
- Optional / later: 2 additional companies with routes to mainland Spain (only if easy to extend)
Required functionality
- User selects a travel date
- Page displays available ferry times for that day
Clean, simple timetable view
Fully mobile-friendly
Data structure ready for:
- Manual updates (initial version)
- Periodic automatic updates (if feasible)
If possible, schedules could refresh every X time to account for cancellations due to weather (nice to have, not mandatory for v1).
I will provide reference websites and screenshots of existing solutions.
2. Beaches Page – Map with Conditions
I already have:
Beach names
Core beach information
What’s needed is logic + API connection, not research.
Required functionality
Interactive map (Google Maps, Mapbox, or recommended alternative)
Each beach shows a status icon based on conditions
Hourly weather forecast per beach:
- Wind
- Temperature
- Simple logic to indicate if the beach is: Windy, Sheltered
The system does NOT need to discover beaches or fetch descriptions — only connect weather data and apply logic.
Forecast scope (Today, Tomorrow and Day after tomorrow)
Technical Requirements
- Bubble.io only
- Clean, maintainable Bubble workflows
- Proper API connections (weather, ferry data if applicable)
- Scalable structure for future extensions
- Performance and UX matter
Work can be done in a separate Bubble demo/staging app, then reviewed before integration.
What I Will Provide:
- Screenshots and reference websites
- Clear explanation of expected behavior
- Fast feedback and communication
What I Expect From You: When applying, please include:
- Your experience building functional apps in Bubble.io
- A task-by-task breakdown with estimated hours (ferry page, beach page, APIs, workflows, testing)
- Brief explanation of how you would:
- Structure the data
- Connect the APIs
- Handle updates in Bubble
Communication: English or Spanish is fine.
