Faith-Based Musician Social Network
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I want to build a dedicated, faith-centered social media platform where Christian musicians can connect, showcase their work, and grow their ministries. Core functionality starts with robust user profiles and seamless music-sharing capabilities that let members upload and stream audio files directly on the site.
Facebook integration is essential—both for quick sign-up/login (OAuth) and for optional cross-posting so that new tracks or updates can be shared to existing Facebook pages without extra effort. I am open to adding built-in direct messaging, but I’d like your insight on whether we should launch with this feature or roll it out later once the community gains traction.
Key requirements
• Responsive web app (mobile-first) built with a modern stack such as React or Vue on the front end and Node.js, Laravel, or a comparable framework on the back end.
• Secure audio upload, storage, and streaming—AWS S3 or similar.
• Profile pages that display bio, genre tags, and embedded audio player.
• Admin dashboard for user moderation and content management.
• Clean UI that reflects a contemporary worship aesthetic.
Deliverables
1. Functional MVP hosted on my server (or a recommended cloud provider).
2. Source code in a Git repo with clear documentation.
3. Setup and deployment guide so I can manage updates in-house.
4. Post-launch support for 30 days to squash emergent bugs.
Acceptance criteria: Users can register via email or Facebook, create a profile, upload an audio track, and stream that track publicly or privately without buffering issues.
