Extend an Existing MCQ Platform to mock exams
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We have already developed a fully functional online question bank platform . The system includes:
* Admin panel for complete content management
* User dashboard for students
* Structured hierarchy: Subject → System → Category → Topic
* Full MCQ entry system (question stem, options, explanations, question IDs, etc.)
We are now looking to extend this existing platform to support NBME-style assessment exams. This is not a project from scratch — most of the backend and frontend are already built. The task primarily involves modifying and extending current features.

1. Exam Mode (NBME-style)
* Create timed assessments (e.g., 40-question blocks)
* Fixed exam structure (not random continuous QBank mode)
* Ability to group questions into predefined exams
* Timer functionality (with auto-submit)
2. Question Mapping
* Use existing question bank
* Allow admin to assign specific questions into exam blocks
* Option to tag questions as “assessment eligible”
3. Exam Interface (Frontend)
* NBME-style UI/UX (clean, distraction-free)
* Question navigation panel (mark, review, next/previous)
* Block-based navigation
4. Result & Review System
* Score report after exam completion
* Percentage, correct/incorrect breakdown
* Review mode (with or without explanations toggle)
* Optional delayed explanation release
5. Admin Panel Enhancements
* Create and manage assessment exams
* Assign questions to specific exams/blocks
* Control exam settings (time, number of questions, randomization if needed)
6. Performance Tracking
* Basic analytics (score history, performance trends)
* Per-subject/system breakdown (if feasible using existing structure)
