I already own the domain and hosting package and now need an experienced web developer to turn them into a fully-functioning online store for physical products. The core requirement is a smooth, reliable shopping-cart experience tied to a secure payment gateway.

Scope of work
• Design and build a responsive storefront that showcases my products clearly.
• Configure the shopping cart, checkout flow, taxes, and shipping rules.
• Set up product categories, inventory controls, and an easy-to-use admin dashboard so I can manage stock and orders myself.
• Connect the site to my chosen payment processor and ensure SSL is active from day one.
• Optimise load speed and make sure everything renders correctly on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
• Provide a short hand-over guide (video or PDF) covering routine tasks such as adding new items, updating prices, and pulling sales reports.

Acceptance criteria
1. All pages load in under three seconds on a standard 4G connection.
2. Shoppers can add, edit, and remove items from the cart without page refresh.
3. Orders, customer emails, and payment confirmations flow end-to-end in a single test purchase.
4. No critical errors flagged by Google Lighthouse or similar audit tools.
