About the project
RideTogether is a motor community platform currently in active development.
The core foundation is already in place, including user-facing features and a comprehensive admin panel.

- Reports & moderation
- Clubs & events management
- Forum moderation
- Direct message monitoring
- Contact submissions
- Send notifications
- Audit logs
- Verification
- Settings
- System maintenance tools (e.g. chat archiving task)
---
Important note about the current state
All features listed above exist in the codebase, but not all of them are complete, stable, or production-ready.
The expectation is that:
- All existing features must be fixed, tested, and completed
- Incomplete or partially implemented features must be fully built out
- Edge cases, permissions, privacy, performance, and scalability must be addressed
Examples:
- Live Feed exists but requires further development and can be enabled/disabled by admins
- Analytics currently shows basic counters and must be expanded into meaningful insights
- Community features (challenges, badges, leaderboards, etc.) require refinement and completion
---
UI / UX improvements
In addition to backend and functional improvements, the UI/UX can also benefit from enhancements.
This includes:
- Improving usability and clarity of existing screens
- Refining user flows (onboarding, ride creation, discovery)
- Improving consistency and visual polish
- Proposing UX improvements where appropriate
Creative input and UX suggestions are welcome and can be discussed as part of the project.
---
What I’m looking for in a developer
Technical
- Strong experience improving and stabilizing existing applications
- Comfortable with:
- Bug fixing and debugging
- Completing partially implemented features
- Refactoring for stability and scalability
- Writing tests and validating functionality
- Experience with:
- Roles & permissions
- Privacy and GDPR/AVG considerations
- Real-time features (chat, GPS)
- Admin-controlled feature toggles
Working style

---
Scope of work & collaboration model

---
