Enhance Inventory Tracker Web App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have an HTML / CSS / JavaScript prototype in place for a lightweight internal web app used by Izumi General Trading LLC to manage seven core workflows. Your first task is to complete and polish the Stock / Inventory Tracker module before we move on to the remaining pieces (CIR requests, quotations, sample approvals, invoices, LPOs, etc.).
The existing UI and basic data models are live in a Git-based repository; you will be extending—not replacing—this code. For the Inventory Tracker I need:
• Real-time updates so stock movements appear instantly across all open sessions (WebSockets or an equally efficient approach is fine).
• Automatic low-stock alerts that trigger both an on-screen warning and a queued email notification when predefined thresholds are reached.
• Clean, responsive screens that match the current design language.
• Solid, commented JavaScript so the next modules can reuse your components.
Once the tracker is production-ready we will iterate through the other six modules; a smooth hand-off therefore matters as much as feature completeness.
Send me a detailed project proposal outlining how you will slot your work into the existing structure, the tools or micro-libraries you intend to add (if any), and a realistic timeline for this first module.
