Enhance Bookready Template Functionality

I already have the stock Bookready template up and running, but the current feature set is limiting what the site can do. The design itself is fine; what I need is a developer who can dive into the codebase, refactor the existing scripts, and extend the functionality so the template performs smoothly and is ready for future add-ons.

Right now the template struggles with a few core interactions—dynamic page loading is sluggish, some components clash when multiple scripts fire, and the overall structure makes new feature integration harder than it should be. I want clean, well-documented code that follows best practices, eliminates the bottlenecks, and leaves clear hooks for adding modules such as user authentication, refined search or filter logic, and even payment integration later on.

Please clone the template to a staging environment, map out the current architecture, and then implement the improvements. I’ll need the reworked source files, concise documentation explaining any new functions or classes, and quick install notes so I can drop the revised package straight into production. If you’ve optimized similar themes or templates before—especially those relying on JavaScript-heavy interactions—let me know; solid examples will help me gauge fit quickly.

Acceptance criteria
• All existing front-end elements stay visually intact while gaining faster load and interaction times
• Code passes basic linting and is logically grouped for easy maintenance
• Clear, commented sections show where future features can be plugged in
• Final package installs without conflicts on the current Bookready setup

Once these points are met and everything runs seamlessly on my end, we’ll wrap the project.
