Fan Website for Sharing Memories
Overview:
I want to build a fan website where people can share their personal memories, stories, or tributes related to a popular personality. Submissions should first go through moderation and only be published after admin approval. The site should be clean, mobile-friendly, and easy for me (a non-technical admin) to manage.
Key Features Required:
Frontend Pages:
Home Page: Introduction + big call-to-action (“Share Your Memory”).
Submission Page: A form for fans to submit their stories with fields such as title, memory text, author name, city, year, language, optional photo, optional video link, and a consent checkbox.
Memories Page: Grid or list layout displaying approved submissions with search and filters (by year, city, or language).
About Page, Guidelines Page, Contact Page.
Submission & Moderation Flow:
All new submissions should be stored in the backend as Pending/Unapproved.
Admin should be able to review, edit, and approve/reject each entry.
Only approved entries appear on the public website.
Email notification to admin whenever a new submission is received.
Technical Setup:
Can be built on WordPress (using custom post type, form plugin, ACF) or Wix (using Content Manager + Datasets).
Spam control (reCAPTCHA).
Image compression for uploads.
Basic SEO setup.
Multilingual support (English + one regional language).
Design:
Clean, respectful, fan-tribute style design.
White background, black text, one accent color.
Fully responsive on mobile and desktop.
Deliverables:
A fully functional website as per requirements.
Admin guide on how to moderate submissions.
Setup of Privacy Policy, Terms, and Takedown Policy pages.
Launch-ready on my hosting with SSL.
