End-to-End Travel Booking Platform
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I want to launch a fully operational booking site—modeled on the seamless flow of Travelpayouts—where guests can search and reserve hotels, hostels, individual rooms and even flights from one place. The assignment covers both front-end and back-end work, right through to a live, trade-ready deployment.
Core flow
• Multiple search boxes must let users query each inventory type independently or together.
• Secure sign-up and sign-in with classic email/password, popular social networks, and an optional two-factor challenge.
• Guests should be able to leave star ratings and written reviews once a stay is completed.
• A built-in payment gateway has to process real-world transactions and return clear booking confirmations.
I need the usual admin console to create or import listings, manage availability, view transactions and issue refunds. The public interface has to be responsive, load quickly and mirror the polished look and feel travellers expect today.
Acceptance criteria
– Deployed on a live URL with SSL.
– Successful end-to-end booking test for each product type (hotel, hostel, room, flight) using the integrated payment gateway’s sandbox then live mode.
– New user journey validated across email, social login and 2FA.
– Review submission appears immediately after a completed stay and updates the aggregate rating.
Feel free to recommend the stack and third-party APIs—what matters is a smooth UX, clean code and the ability to scale inventory as we grow.
