QR-Enabled Cleaning Platform
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m commissioning a fixed-price build of a service-based web platform paired with companion apps for both iOS and Android. The core of the system is a QR workflow that lets customers create an account, pay securely by credit card, and hand over garments that are tracked end-to-end through our dry-clean tagging solution.
Scope of work
• Website: modern, responsive front-end with customer sign-up, login, order history and a secure checkout.
• Mobile apps: native or cross-platform build for iOS and Android mirroring all customer functions, plus the ability to scan our QR codes for pick-up and delivery.
• QR code engine: generates unique codes during order creation and recognises them later to pull up account data and accept payments. Only “User sign-up” and “Payment processing” actions need to fire from each scan.
• Payments: PCI-compliant credit-card gateway (Stripe or comparable) with tokenisation; Apple Pay and Google Pay are a plus.
• QuickBooks Online integration: every completed order must post an invoice and reconcile payments automatically.
• Dry-clean tagging system: connect to our existing tagging API (documentation provided) to push order IDs, item counts and status updates.
• Admin dashboard: order queue, garment status, customer management and simple sales reports.
Acceptance criteria
1. A new user can register, scan a QR label and pay on both web and mobile without errors.
2. Each paid order appears in QuickBooks with matching totals and customer details.
3. Scanning any order’s QR code from the shop tablet correctly updates the garment status through the tagging API.
4. iOS and Android builds pass App Store / Play Store submission checks.
Code must be clean, well-documented and ready for hand-over; no hourly billing—just a single fixed fee tied to agreed milestones.
