Employee Grievance Tracking Web App

I want to roll out a small-scale, web-based grievance tracker that lets employees file concerns and managers follow each case through to closure. Employees will sign in, submit a grievance, then monitor its progress. Managers will authenticate with their own credentials, see every case assigned to them, update status notes, and close issues when resolved. An overview dashboard should summarise open versus closed items while a reporting area lets me export filtered results (CSV or PDF) for monthly reviews.

Core workflow
• Secure sign-in for both employees and managers
• Simple form for employees to raise a new grievance
• Status timeline that updates automatically as managers act
• Manager dashboard with search, filters, and bulk status change
• Reporting module that can generate on-screen charts plus downloadable reports

Tech stack is flexible—React, Vue, or a lightweight Django/Laravel setup all work as long as it’s responsive and can run on a standard Linux server. Clean code, clear comments, and a brief setup guide will be part of the hand-off, and I’ll test by logging in as each role, submitting a grievance, updating it, and downloading a report.
