EdTech Platform Development for Doubtr
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need a lean, web-based MVP for Doubtr, an EdTech platform where students connect with teachers to resolve academic doubts. The first release should keep the scope tight while demonstrating the full end-to-end flow.
Core scope
• Profile management sits at the heart of this build. Both students and teachers must be able to sign up, log in, edit their profile, and view one another’s public details (subjects taught or studied, grade level, short bio, avatar).
• Students raise doubts as text posts, optionally attaching images or other files for clarity.
• Teachers reply in threaded text. Either party can escalate to a real-time interaction: a live chat or quick video call embedded in the same interface.

Preferred flow
1. Student opens a “New Doubt,” adds description + attachment.
2. Teacher receives a notification, answers in text first.
3. If either side clicks “Go live,” a chat/video room spins up instantly without leaving the page.
4. All sessions, messages, and attachments stay linked to the original doubt for future reference under each user’s profile.
Deliverables
• Responsive web app (desktop + mobile) built with a modern JS framework (React, Next, Vue, etc.) and a simple backend (Node, Firebase, Supabase, or similar).
• Auth module with role distinction, password reset, and basic security best practices.
• Doubt creation, answer threads, file upload, and quick-start WebRTC or equivalent live room.
• Clean, minimal UI—no heavy visuals required, but UX must be intuitive.
• Source code in a public or private repo plus a short “Getting Started” README so I can spin it up locally.
Acceptance criteria
– I can register as either role, edit my profile, and log back in.
– A student account can post a doubt with an image; a teacher account can respond.
– Live chat/video launches and closes without page reloads.
– All data persists after refresh.
Keep the build simple, modular, and easy to extend; this is only the first milestone toward a fuller product
