Ad-Driven E-Commerce Platform Development

Job ID: 40048676

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m planning to launch an e-commerce-style platform whose main income stream comes from in-app advertising rather than direct sales. Imagine a space where users browse engaging product-centric videos, discover deals, but the revenue on my side flows from well-placed ads instead of transaction fees.

Here is the core of what I need built:
• A fully responsive platform (web first, but with a companion mobile app or PWA) that looks and behaves like a modern e-commerce marketplace.
• Seamless integration of video or other rich-media content on every product or category page—think short clips, reels, or live showcases.
• An advertising layer (Google Ad Manager / AdMob or a comparable SDK) that lets me insert and rotate banner, native, and interstitial ads without hurting the user experience.
• A straightforward content-management back-office where I can upload videos, manage ad slots, and track impressions and clicks.
• Basic user features—search, saved items, simple checkout flow (so I can switch on direct sales later if I choose).

I’m open to your preferred tech stack, although I’m currently leaning toward React (Next.js) for web paired with React Native or Flutter for mobile so we share as much code as possible. Clean code, modular architecture, and clear documentation are must-haves; I’ll continue developing new revenue experiments after launch.

Acceptance will be based on:
1. Smooth playback of uploaded videos on both web and mobile.
2. Ads loading consistently in the designated spots and reporting back to the chosen ad network.
3. Page load times under 3 seconds on 4G.
4. A short hand-off session plus written setup guide that lets me redeploy the app from source within an hour.

If this aligns with your expertise, tell me how you would approach the build and the approximate timeline to a functional MVP.
