Discussion Forum Platform Build

I already have the full visual design for a new discussion-forum style social media site, and now I need it brought to life. The platform centres on general-interest conversations, so flexibility and scalability are important.

Core features I need implemented:
• Messaging system for members to chat privately or in small groups.
• Topic sharing and tagging so any post can be surfaced under the right conversations and “nearly topics” suggestions.
• A personal profile area where users manage their details, avatar and discussion history.

I’m happy with modern, open-source stacks—think React or Vue on the front-end and Node, Django or Laravel on the back-end—as long as the code is clean, documented and easy to maintain. Mobile-first responsiveness, secure authentication, and a straightforward admin panel for moderation are must-haves.

You’ll receive:

What I expect back:
• A functional prototype on your staging server showing the full user flow.
• Source code pushed to a Git repository with clear setup instructions.
• Brief hand-off notes outlining environment variables and deployment steps.
