Directory Membership Website Development
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
I’m building a web platform that combines a public directory with gated membership areas and regular content updates. The core idea is simple: visitors should be able to browse listings quickly, members should enjoy extra privileges, and administrators (my team) must manage everything without headaches.
To make that happen I need:
• Robust search so users can filter results instantly by category, location, or keyword.
• User reviews and star-ratings attached to each listing, with moderation controls.
• Interactive map integration that plots every listing and lets visitors get directions or refine results geographically.
I’m technology-agnostic—WordPress with advanced plugins, is fine as long as the final product is fast, secure, and easy to maintain. A clean admin dashboard, mobile-friendly front end, and SEO-ready structure are essential.
When you deliver, I’ll review:
1. Seamless search, review, and map features working together on a live staging URL.
2. Membership workflows (signup, login, payment gateway ready—test mode is enough).
3. Clear documentation covering setup and future content management.
If you’ve tackled directory or membership projects before, I’d love to see them and hear how you’d approach this build.
