Deploy Business Site on AWS
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a domain sitting in GoDaddy’s dashboard and a single-page business site template—HTML, CSS and a bit of vanilla JavaScript—ready to go. What I need is for you to make it live on AWS, wire up a working contact form, and ensure the domain resolves over HTTPS without any hiccups.
Here’s the flow I’m picturing:
• Spin up the most appropriate AWS service (S3 + CloudFront for a static site or a lightweight EC2/Lightsail instance if you prefer), enable HTTPS via AWS Certificate Manager, and configure the distribution so the pages cache properly.
• Point my GoDaddy DNS records to the AWS endpoint; a quick walkthrough of the settings you change would be helpful so I can repeat it later if needed.
• Drop the provided template in place, confirm all JavaScript functions (simple sliders and form validation) load correctly, and keep the file structure identical to what I supply.
• Build a contact form that submits to email—SES or another AWS-friendly method is fine—as long as spam protection and basic validation are covered.
Acceptance criteria
– Site loads at my root domain and the www subdomain over HTTPS.
– All JavaScript-based interactions (menu toggle, slider, form validation) work exactly as in the template.
– Contact form messages arrive in my inbox and display the sender’s name, email, and message.
– Clear, step-by-step notes on DNS changes and AWS resources created.
