Daily Financial Reporting System

I need a small, reliable system that turns each day’s raw transaction data into a clear cash-flow picture I can view in a browser. The focus is strictly on cash flow analysis, with the single headline metric being Net Cash Flow. Every morning, I want to open a URL and see yesterday’s figure, the month-to-date trend, and a simple visual that tells me instantly whether we are up or down.

You’re free to build with the stack you know best—Python/Django, Node/Express, Laravel, or even a lightweight BI solution—as long as the finished site installs cleanly on a typical Linux VPS and requires minimal ongoing care. A small SQLite or MySQL/MariaDB backend is fine if you need persistence; flat-file or API pulls work too.

Acceptance criteria
• Automated import (API, CSV, or direct DB query) that refreshes at least once daily
• Calculation of Net Cash Flow with date filters (yesterday, week-to-date, month-to-date)
• Responsive web dashboard showing the figure and a simple line or bar chart trend
• Manual export button for the underlying numbers (CSV or Excel)
• Deployment script or clear step-by-step instructions so I can stand it up on our server without guesswork
