Custom Website Development Needed

I need a modern, responsive website built from the ground up. The exact purpose—whether a full e-commerce storefront, a sleek portfolio, or a content-driven blog—will be finalised together once we map out goals and audience. At minimum, the build should be clean, fast, mobile-friendly, and easy for me to update without touching code.

Functionality is still open for discussion. I may require user accounts, secure payment processing, and a straightforward contact form, so please be comfortable integrating those features and advising on best practices. If you favour stacks like React, Next.js, Node, PHP/Laravel, or WordPress with custom themes, let me know; I’m flexible as long as performance, security, and scalability are covered.

I have no fixed design files or brand guidelines yet, so a sharp eye for UI/UX and the ability to translate rough ideas into high-fidelity mock-ups will be a big plus. Collaboration on colour palette, typography, and overall visual identity is part of the brief.
