I’m starting with a blank slate and need a versatile developer who can take a concept and turn it into a polished, live website. The site’s purpose—whether e-commerce, content-driven, or portfolio—hasn’t been locked in yet, so I’m looking for someone comfortable guiding that conversation and recommending the best approach. WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, or even a headless setup are all possibilities; your expertise in selecting and configuring the right stack will be invaluable.
You’ll own the full build cycle: wireframing, responsive front-end (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript), CMS setup, basic on-page SEO, and launch. I’ll also need a quick walkthrough so I can manage day-to-day content updates myself.
Deliverables:
• Three design mock-ups for review and sign-off
• Fully functional, responsive site deployed to my hosting
• Admin guide or video covering content edits, plugin updates, and backups
• 30-day post-launch support for minor tweaks or questions
Acceptance criteria: the site must load quickly, pass Google’s mobile-friendly test, and display consistently across modern browsers.
