Custom Web & Android App Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m launching a green-field application that must run seamlessly in the browser and as a native Android build. Your job is to take it from concept to deployment, delivering a slick, modern interface backed by a robust database and a secure email-and-password sign-in flow.
Scope
• Architecture & Stack: Propose the framework, cloud services, and tooling you feel best support a shared web/Android codebase. I’m open to progressive web app, React/Next.js + Kotlin, Flutter, or any other well-reasoned approach that keeps maintenance straightforward.
• UI/UX: Craft responsive screens that feel equally natural on desktop, tablet, and Android handsets, following today’s accessibility and material design guidelines.
• Data Layer: Design and implement the database schema, API endpoints, and ORM logic for fast, scalable reads/writes.
• Security: Implement salted hashing, transport-layer encryption, and session management to ensure the email/password authentication stays airtight.
• Testing: Unit, integration, and basic UI tests are mandatory; automated CI pipelines are a plus.
• Documentation: Inline code comments, a concise setup guide, and an end-user manual so future contributors can ramp up quickly.
Deliverables
1. Source code repository with clean, modular commits
2. Build scripts / CI configuration
3. Deployed web app (staging) + signed Android APK or AAB
4. API & database ERD documentation
5. Test report with coverage metrics
6. README and user guide
Acceptance Criteria
• All primary workflows operate without error on Chrome, Firefox, and latest Android devices.
• No critical or high-severity security findings in an OWASP scan.
• Lighthouse score ≥ 90 for performance and accessibility.
• Build and deploy steps reproducible from the README alone.
If you can hit those marks and think ahead to possible iOS expansion down the road, I’d love to see your plan of attack, timeline, and any similar projects you’ve shipped.
