Custom Family Tree Web App Development

I’m looking for a developer (or small team) to build a custom family tree web app inspired by FamilyEcho, but with my own features and design. This will be a smaller-scale version initially, with room for future improvements.

Main Features (Phase 1):

1. Home Screen

Two main buttons: Create New Family or Load Family

Underneath: a small description area for each saved family with basic info

Limit: Up to 8 families per user (max)

2. Create New Family

Form fields:

Family Name (name of the family group)

Founder’s Name (first person in the tree)

Password (to protect family access)

Email (for account reference or recovery)

After creation, the family is saved in one of the 8 available slots.

3. Load Family

Display 8 boxes (slots) for families

Clickable only if the slot contains a created family

Clicking a slot opens the saved family tree at the last saved point

4. Settings

Toggle between Auto-Save or Manual Save

5. Family Tree View

Similar to FamilyEcho layout but with a personal twist in design and interactions (details will be discussed)

Requirements:

Simple, clean, and intuitive UI

Must work on both desktop and mobile browsers (responsive)

Secure saving/loading of family trees

Ability to expand features later

Inspiration:
We will use FamilyEcho as a reference, but I want this to have my own style and features. We can chat further and do a quick review of FamilyEcho together so you understand the functionality.

Source code with documentation

Instructions for deployment (self-hosted or cloud)
