Custom Educational LMS Web App

I’m building a full-featured learning management system dedicated to educational coursework and want it delivered as a modern, responsive web application. The platform must let students stream video lectures seamlessly and take interactive quizzes that record their scores instantly. Instructors should be able to upload or embed new videos, create question banks, and track individual or class-wide progress. Admins will oversee user management, course catalogs, enrolment rules, and overall site configuration from a secure dashboard.

Core expectations
• Role-based access: distinct dashboards and permissions for students, instructors, and admins
• Course builder: upload videos, arrange modules, attach quizzes, set prerequisites, and schedule release dates
• Quiz engine: timed or untimed, auto-graded, with instant feedback and detailed analytics
• Progress tracking: completion percentages, score history, leaderboards, and exportable reports
• Clean UI/UX: mobile-friendly, intuitive navigation, fast search, and accessible design
• Tech stack: MERN.

Acceptance criteria
1. A deployed demo build where I can register as each role and test the entire flow from course creation to quiz completion.
2. Source code in a private Git repo with concise setup instructions.
3. Basic unit tests for the most critical endpoints or components.
4. A short hand-off session (recorded or live) walking through the architecture and admin controls.
