Custom Disqus-Style Comment System

Job ID: 39912892

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

The goal is to build a web-based comment platform that mirrors the core flow of Disqus while remaining completely self-hosted. The service should be easy to install on any site through a single script snippet, then expose the following feature set inside an admin dashboard:

• User management
• Comment management
• Emoji management

Beyond those modules, I also need community spaces, a realtime moderation queue, lightweight reactions, a flexible badge system, and multi-site support so one back office can oversee several domains.

No end-user login screen is required; instead, the system may rely on anonymous or token-based identities that I can still edit or ban from the admin panel.

A clean REST or GraphQL API, sensible database schema, and responsive front-end embed are expected. Feel free to choose the stack (Node.js, Go, Laravel, React, Vue, etc.), as long as the final package includes:

• One-click installation instructions
• Source code with clear documentation
• A short demo showing moderation, reactions, badges and site switching in action

Delivery is complete when I can drop the embed script into a test page, open the dashboard, and perform every action above without errors.
