Currency Trend Forecasting Web Tool
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I want to launch a web-based economic trend-forecasting tool that zeroes in on the Indonesian Rupiah, US Dollar, and Malaysian Ringgit. The goal is to let me visualise historical movements, overlay key macro-economic indicators, and generate forward-looking projections I can download or embed in reports.
Here’s what I’m after:
• A clean browser interface that loads quickly on desktop and mobile, with interactive charts for each currency and the pairs IDR-USD, MYR-USD, and IDR-MYR.
• A data layer that automatically pulls reliable, up-to-date market prices and macro metrics (think API feeds such as Alpha Vantage, FRED, or similar—open to your suggestions).
• A forecasting engine that applies recognised statistical or machine-learning methods to surface 7-, 30-, and 90-day outlooks, presenting best-, base-, and worst-case scenarios in plain language.
• Export options: one-click CSV download of raw data plus a PDF snapshot of each chart with its narrative insight.
• Admin panel so I can manage API keys and tweak model parameters without touching code.
Acceptance criteria
1. Deployed on a secure web host with HTTPS and login for me only.
2. All three currencies visible, data auto-refreshing at user-set intervals.
3. Forecasting results reproducible from the same data set; show RMSE or similar accuracy metric.
4. Source code and concise setup guide delivered on hand-over.
Let me know your preferred tech stack, any API costs I should expect, and examples of past forecasting or financial-data projects you’ve completed.
