Crypto Trading Competition Platform
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m organising a live competition where participants trade only cryptocurrencies and the winner is the trader who keeps the lowest overall risk profile. Returns still matter, but risk-adjusted steadiness is what will decide the leaderboard. I need a turnkey solution that lets me launch, track and ultimately rank every contestant without manual spreadsheets or guesswork.
Here’s what I’d like to walk away with:
• A secure web or mobile-friendly app that lets traders register, connect their exchange accounts (API keys or paper-trading if you prefer) and see their own stats in real time.
• A scoring engine that automatically evaluates performance on a “lowest risk” basis—e.g., variance, max draw-down or a Sharpe/Sortino style metric you recommend—while still displaying raw returns for transparency.
• An admin dashboard where I can set the contest dates, freeze accounts at the deadline, and export final results.
• A public leaderboard that refreshes frequently so competitors can track their standing.
• Clear documentation so I can relaunch future rounds without additional dev work.
Tech stack is open—Python, Node, PHP, Firebase, whatever you’re most comfortable with—as long as the finished product is secure and easy for non-technical users to operate. Please include a short outline of your proposed approach, any existing libraries or tools you’d leverage, and a realistic timeline for first demo to full launch.
If you’ve built anything similar or have ideas to improve the judging model, let me know; the smarter the risk metrics, the better the contest will be.
