Corporate Website Deployment & Setup

This assignment covers the full hand-off of a newly developed corporate website from the build stage to a live, production-ready environment. Source files sit in a private Git repository; the job is to configure the hosting stack, deploy the code, harden security, and make sure the site resolves cleanly on our domain with a valid SSL certificate.

The work will feel familiar if you have previously taken a corporate marketing or informational site from staging to launch. Typical tasks include setting up the Linux server (or equivalent), installing and tuning Nginx or Apache, connecting the database, applying environment variables, and wiring automated backups. A short post-launch smoke test is part of the hand-over so that internal stakeholders can sign off before we flip the DNS switch.

Please weave your relevant experience into your proposal—what stacks you have deployed, any CI/CD pipelines you have built, and the largest corporate site you have taken live recently.

Acceptance criteria
• Site accessible at the root domain over HTTPS, loading in under three seconds
• All existing functionality (contact forms, analytics tags, etc.) working in production
• One-page deployment notes outlining host details, credentials, and roll-back steps

Once the above boxes are ticked, the project is complete and payment is released.
