Convert WordPress to Static HTML
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I want to harden the security of my website by moving away from WordPress entirely and serving a 100 % static version instead. The finished site must look and feel identical to the current one—same design, layout, text, images, media files, page structure and URLs—but with no PHP, database calls or WordPress-specific features left in place.
Scope
My priority is security, so a faithful front-end clone is all that’s required; no new functionality needs to be added. You’re free to use any reliable method—WP2Static, Simply Static, a static-site generator, or a manual hand-coded approach—so long as the output is clean HTML, CSS and optional vanilla JavaScript.
Deliverables
• Complete static copy of every page, including all images and style assets, packaged in a single folder ready to upload to a file-based host
• Preserved internal links, SEO meta tags and canonical URLs
• Lossless or visually lossless image optimisation where practical
• Brief deployment notes so I can drop the files onto my server and go live without extra configuration
