Content Focused Website Build

I have a rough idea sketched out for a clean, text-centric site and now need it turned into a polished, fully functional website. The heart of the project is long-form articles, so readability, fast loading, and smooth navigation matter most.

I’ll share my wireframe notes, colour palette, and a few reference sites. From there, I’d like you to refine the layout, choose or create a lightweight theme, and build everything on a user-friendly CMS—WordPress is the front-runner, though I’m open to any platform that makes publishing simple.

Deliverables
• Responsive site with home, article index, single-article, about, and contact pages
• Customisable header, footer, and sidebar areas ready for widgets or ads
• Basic on-page SEO set-up and security hardening
• Walk-through session showing me how to add and format new articles

Final approval will hinge on cross-browser testing, mobile responsiveness, and matching the agreed look and feel.
