Wholesale distributor in India. Customers are retail businesses who currently place orders informally over WhatsApp, causing errors and requiring phone confirmation. Replacing this with a structured platform.
Three surfaces: customer web portal (responsive), customer mobile apps (Android + iOS, feature parity with web), admin web panel for internal staff. Shared API-first backend.
Module 1 — Ordering (Priority 1)
Buyer login with multi-branch/multi-user support. Guided multi-step order form where each item requires 8–10 attributes, several conditional on earlier selections, including numeric technical specification fields that need validation, unit conversion between two industry notations, and cascading dropdowns filtered by parent selection. Multiple items batched into one order submission. Review-and-confirm summary screen. Saved favourites for fast repeat ordering. Order status, history, invoice download, credit balance visibility. English + Hindi, must run on low-end Android.
Module 2 — Inventory & Warehouse
Catalog management across a large SKU matrix. Order queue with availability check, partial fulfilment and backorder flows. Bin-location management across a 3-floor warehouse. Barcode/QR pick lists with scan verification using standard Android phones. Returns/damage workflow with credit notes. Role-based access. Catalog must go live before inventory is fully digitised.
Module 3 — Billing
Auto-invoice on dispatch. GST compliant (HSN, e-invoicing/IRN, e-way bill). Per-customer negotiated rate cards. Credit ledger and receivables ageing. Two-way Tally integration required. No payment gateway.
Module 4 — Dispatch
Multiple local delivery vendors, assignment per order, automated dispatch notification naming the partner.
Phased delivery. Client owns all code, data and IP.
