E-Commerce Website Development And Server Configuration Continues
Budget: $10 – $200 USD
Finish configuring the server, and bring the storefront to a fully functional release.
Scope of work
• Complete the product catalog and search features so visitors can browse, filter, and locate items quickly. At the moment, only placeholder data is being displayed.
• Configure the server (SSL, database connection, caching, and security hardening) so the site is production-ready and scales smoothly.
• Implement PayPal as the primary payment gateway—this is the technology I’ve specified so far, though I’m open to your suggestions on whether Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or a lightweight custom stack makes the most sense for long-term maintainability.
• Run end-to-end tests, deploy to the live environment, and provide a concise hand-off document that covers environment variables and any cron or queue jobs you set up.
Acceptance criteria
1. Products load in under two seconds and advanced search returns accurate results.
2. PayPal checkout completes successfully in sandbox and live mode.
3. No critical or high-severity issues appear in an OWASP scan.
4. Clear deployment guide and rollback steps are delivered.
If you’ve tackled similar e-commerce builds and can move quickly, let’s talk and lock in the next milestones.
