I’m looking to have a full-featured e-commerce web application built from the ground up. This is a software development project focused strictly on the web, so every decision—from architecture to user interface—should be aimed at delivering a smooth online shopping experience.
Scope
• Core features: product catalog, advanced search/filter, shopping cart, secure checkout, and order tracking.
• Admin dashboard: inventory management, user management, analytics, discount/coupon controls.
• Payments & security: integration with Stripe or PayPal, SSL enforcement, GDPR-friendly data handling, and robust user authentication.
• Responsiveness: desktop, tablet, and mobile views must all feel native.
Tech Expectations
I’m open to modern stacks such as React or Vue on the front end and Node.js, Django, or Laravel on the back end. Clean REST or GraphQL APIs, modular code, and clear documentation will be key to future scalability.
Deliverables
1. Source code hosted in a private Git repository.
2. Deployment guide and live staging URL (Docker or similar preferred).
3. Brief walkthrough video or slide deck explaining architecture, key decisions, and how the final result maps to the outlined goals.
Timeline and communication are flexible as long as progress is transparent and each milestone ends in a demonstrable build.
