E-Commerce Site With Reviews
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m setting up my first online store and need a developer who can handle the full web development process for a simple e-commerce site. The key requirement right now is a clean product catalogue that lets shoppers leave and read reviews.
Because this is my very first tech project, I’ll rely on you to recommend the right stack (whether it’s WordPress + WooCommerce, Shopify, Laravel, or something similar) and walk me through the steps so I understand how to update products and moderate reviews later on. If we start with a solid foundation, I can add features like a shopping cart or integrated payments once the store begins to grow.
Scope of work
• Build a responsive e-commerce site in Indonesian or English—whichever you prefer—that lists products and supports user-generated reviews.
• Set up an intuitive admin area where I can add, edit, or remove products and approve reviews without touching code.
• Configure basic SEO, page-speed optimisations, and security best practices so the store is ready for public launch.
• Provide brief, plain-language documentation (or a recorded walkthrough) explaining daily tasks such as adding new products and handling customer queries.
Acceptance
The project is complete when I can:
1. Log into the admin panel, add a product, see it live, and view the review section.
2. Approve, delete, or reply to a review from the backend.
3. Browse the site on mobile and desktop with no layout issues.
If you have a ready-made theme that already includes a review module, feel free to suggest it; otherwise, a lightweight custom theme is fine too. I’m eager to collaborate, learn, and launch this store together—please share examples of similar e-commerce projects you’ve completed and the tech stack you propose so we can get started right away.
