Cloud Employee ID Card Creator

I need a clean, browser-based system that lets my HR staff create professional employee ID cards in minutes. All templates (we will hand you at least 25 layered designs) should live in our Amazon S3 bucket; the app only has to pull what’s there, show a thumbnail gallery, and let the user pick the right one.

Workflow I am picturing:
• HR selects a template, uploads a JPEG headshot, and sees it auto-fit into the designated photo area.
• Dynamic form fields then appear—name, department, certifications, cross-training info, etc.—matching that specific layout.
• When a department requires it, the back side must include a Pdf417 barcode that encodes the data string we pass from the form.

Quality is critical because we print in-house on PVC stock; the output you generate should be a high-resolution, print-ready PDF (front and back in one file) that preserves all template colors and bleed settings.

Please build:
• Secure login for our HR team (role: “Creator”) and an admin dashboard where I can add, edit or archive templates.
• S3 integration for templates, final PDF storage, and optional automatic cleanup of older drafts.
• Simple image tools—crop, rotate, brightness—so staff can adjust photos without third-party software.
• A small configuration panel where we can switch the barcode on or off per department, and edit the Pdf417 data format ourselves later.

Acceptance will be based on:
1. Selecting any of our 25 templates and producing an error-free PDF in less than 10 seconds.
2. Barcode scans correctly on at least two standard scanner apps.
3. All data saved in S3, accessible only to authenticated users.
4. Clear deployment notes so we can host on our existing AWS stack.

JPEG is the only mandatory photo format today, though the code can stay flexible for PNG or TIFF later. Let me know the tech stack you prefer and an estimated timeline, and we’ll move forward right away.
