I want to build an online portal that serves healthcare professionals with up-to-date clinical guidelines. The site’s sole focus is providing credible information and resources; there is no appointment scheduling or telemedicine component, so every design and technical decision can concentrate on delivering content quickly and clearly.
Core objectives
• Publish peer-reviewed clinical guidelines in an easy-to-navigate library.
• Allow keyword and filtered search (specialty, publication date, guideline type).
• Support frequent content updates through a secure CMS—WordPress or a similarly intuitive platform is fine as long as version control and user roles are handled.
• Optimise for mobile and low-bandwidth access without sacrificing document fidelity (PDF, HTML, and print-friendly).
• Build in basic analytics (e.g., Google Analytics 4) so I can track guideline views and popular topics.
Acceptance criteria
1. Home, Search/Filter, Guideline Detail, and About/Contact pages fully styled and responsive.
2. Admin panel demonstration showing me how to add, edit, and archive guidelines.
3. Page-load scores above 90 on Google PageSpeed Insights for both mobile and desktop.
4. Final hand-off includes source theme/files, a database dump, and a short setup guide.
