Classified Ads Website Build
Budget: $250 – $750 NZD
I’m building a general classified advertising platform where visitors can browse by category and sub-category, then post, bid on, or buy what they need. The site will include:
• User area – registered users must be able to log in and post new advertisements from a clean dashboard; other dashboard functions can remain expandable for future phases.
• Admin panel – every listing, page, review, auction, download and payment setting has to be fully editable or removable from here.
• Payments – PayPal will act as the local e-wallet for featured listings, auction deposits and e-book sales. Please wire it for one-click checkout and webhook-based status updates.
• Trust signals – a rating & review system that ties comments to completed transactions.
• Digital goods – an e-book download module; files should unlock automatically after successful payment.
• Auctions – timed bidding with real-time increments and “buy-now” support.
Acceptance criteria
1. Mobile-responsive UI, fast load times.
2. Clear category/sub-category navigation with search and filters.
3. Secure user authentication, role separation for admin, seller and buyer.
4. Successful PayPal sandbox and live mode tests.
5. Code, database schema and brief deployment guide delivered at hand-off.
You’re free to pick the framework or CMS you work fastest in, as long as it is well-documented and easy for another developer to maintain later.
