I’m building a personal WordPress blog that spotlights city-specific topics—health services, school reviews, and real-estate insights for each location. I already have my content plan; what I need now is a clean, responsive site that lets readers explore posts by city and category, find what they need quickly, and join the conversation.

Core features
• Search function that scans posts and category archives
• Native WordPress comment section styled to match the theme
• Social-media sharing buttons on every post
• A welcoming Home page, intuitive Categories page, and a reusable single-blog-post template

I’m flexible on theme choice as long as it’s lightweight, mobile-friendly, and easy for me to update later—GeneratePress, Astra, or a well-coded custom child theme all work. Please handle initial configuration, menu structure, basic on-page SEO (titles, permalinks), and a few sample city categories so I can see the workflow.

Acceptance criteria
1. Site loads without errors on my hosting and passes Google mobile-friendly test.
2. Search, comments, and share buttons function on both desktop and mobile.
3. I receive a short hand-off guide covering theme settings, adding new city categories, and publishing posts.
