City Courier Booking Website

Build a responsive web-based booking platform that lets customers schedule same-city courier pickups and deliveries in a few clicks. The flow should feel as simple on mobile as it does on desktop: enter pick-up and drop-off details, choose service level, pay, then watch the parcel move across the map in real time.

Core functionality
• Booking engine: intuitive form, price calculator, optional guest checkout and a lightweight sign-up/sign-in module for users who want to save addresses or view past orders.
• Real-time tracking: live map powered by Google Maps, Mapbox, or a comparable API, with status updates pushed automatically to the customer view and the admin dashboard.
• Online payments: secure card processing via Stripe, PayPal, or a widely supported gateway; include webhook handling for payment confirmation.
• Automated notifications: instant booking confirmation plus status changes sent by email (and SMS if you prefer Twilio or a similar service).
• Admin console: view, filter, and update all orders; manually override ETA; export daily manifests.

Acceptance criteria
1. A customer can create a booking, pay, and receive confirmation without mandatory registration.
2. Logged-in users can see order history and saved addresses.
3. Tracking page refreshes location and status without full page reload.
4. Admin can mark parcels picked-up, in-transit, delivered; each change triggers a notification.
5. All pages score 90+ on Google Lighthouse mobile performance.

Hand-off
Source code (preferably React/Vue + Node/Laravel, but open to robust alternatives), database schema, and concise setup docs so my in-house team can deploy on our VPS and tweak copy later on.
