Christian E-Learning Membership Website Build
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already have the domain and hosting in place; now I need the full site built and configured so it can serve believers and church leaders with high-quality Christian learning material.
The website must be wordpress
The heart of the platform will be an Online Course section covering education, character building, and ministry skills. Visitors may browse lessons freely, but only registered members will unlock the full journey: tracked progress, certificates, and downloadable resources.
Key workflow
• Public visitors read articles, stream free audio teachings, and try sample tests.
• Members enter a private area where they sit full online tests. Going through the test is free; however, purchasing a detailed report that can be applied to church departments or individual ministry coaching must route through a secure payment gateway.
• Admins (my team and I) manage course content, upload new audio files, moderate members, and view sales / mailing stats from a unified dashboard.
Essential features to implement
1. Private member area with tiered permissions (Public, Member-only, Admin).
2. Robust online testing module that supports question banks, automatic scoring, and paid “apply my results” upgrades.
3. Course builder that lets me release lessons, quizzes, and certificates over time.
4. Audio library where I can upload MP3s and have them stream responsively on mobile and desktop.
5. Email collection on every key touch-point plus bulk messaging capabilities for newsletters and course announcements.
6. Payment integration for the paid test-result service, with receipts sent automatically.
Acceptance criteria
• Site loads quickly on my existing hosting package.
• All three access levels function without permission leaks.
• Members can purchase reports and immediately receive them by email/download.
• Admin dashboard shows course progress, test scores, and mailing-list growth.
• Audio files play in modern browsers without extra plugins.
• Clean, Christ-centred visual theme that feels welcoming and professional.
If you already have experience building learning or ministry platforms—and can approach the project with an understanding of its Christian focus—I would love to hear how you would tackle it and what stack or CMS you recommend.
