ChitFund Fintech Site Upgrade
Budget: ₹2,500,000 – ₹5,000,000 INR
I have a live prototype hosted at https://chitflow-pro-20260429221704.vercel.app that introduces a ChitFund-based fintech service. The core concept is to let users create, join, and manage chit groups entirely online while tracking payments, payouts, and member status in real time.
At this point the site is functional enough to demonstrate the flow, yet it still feels like a prototype. I’d like a seasoned web developer with a solid grasp of fintech best practices to help me turn it into a production-ready product—secure, scalable, and visually polished.
Key areas I need you to tackle
• Refine the user interface so the onboarding, group dashboard, and payout screens look clean and trustworthy on both mobile and desktop.
• Harden the backend logic that calculates bids, payouts, and late-fee penalties, making sure every edge case is handled accurately.
• Implement bank-grade security for sign-up, KYC document upload, payment gateway hooks, and data encryption.
• Optimise performance—especially the real-time updates—so the experience is smooth even when hundreds of members are active.
• Provide clear, modular code and brief technical documentation so future devs (or I) can keep extending the platform.
Acceptance criteria
1. Responsive UI passes Google Lighthouse ≥ 90 on mobile and desktop.
2. All chit cycles run end-to-end in a test environment without manual intervention.
3. Payments and sensitive data travel exclusively over HTTPS with verified SSL and sensitive fields encrypted at rest.
4. Source code is pushed to the Git repository with concise setup instructions and sample environment variables.
Tech stack is currently Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS on the front end with a Node/Express API and MongoDB Atlas in the back. If you have alternative suggestions that improve reliability or cost efficiency, feel free to propose them along with your reasoning.
