3 Changes to Shopify Store

Job ID: 40138641

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

1. Add Product Filters by Category (Faceted Filtering)
Objective:
Enable functional product filters in all relevant collections to improve navigation and UX.
Requirements:
• Add filters per category based on:
o Size / Dimensions
o Color
o Brand / Manufacturer
Notes:
• For heating-related main categories, use Manufacturer / Vendor (e.g. Sunny, Scala, Vox, etc.).
• Filters must be data-driven (Shopify native filters):
o Brand → Vendor
o Size / Dimensions → Product Options or Metafields
o Color → Product Options or Metafields
• Filters should appear only if products in the category contain valid values.
Expected Result:
Each category page displays relevant filters (size, color, brand) and filtering works correctly without empty or duplicated values.

2. Handle “La comanda” Products (Stock = 0)
Objective:
Products that are stock 0 for one category should NOT appear as “Out of stock” in our Shopify store.

Requirements:
• For products with stock = 0 :
o They should appear as In stock in Shopify
o OR be explicitly marked as Made to order (if Shopify configuration allows)
• Add a bold message at the beginning of the product description:
Lead time: 45 days from payment of a 30% advance.
Important:
• These products must remain purchasable
• Do NOT show “Out of stock”
• Do NOT block checkout
Expected Result:
Customers can place orders for made-to-order products and clearly see the delivery terms before purchasing.

3. Variant Color Display Issues (Aluminium Radiators & Valves cattegories)
Objective:
Fix variant display so users see color names and/or swatches, not internal color codes.
Affected Categories:
• Aluminium Radiators
• Radiator Valves
Current Issue:
• Selecting a color variant:
o Does NOT change the product image
o Displays only color codes instead of readable color names
Requirements:
• Replace color codes with human-readable color names (e.g. White, Anthracite, Black)
• If possible, implement:
o Color swatches
o Variant-specific images (image changes when color is selected)
Expected Result:
Users clearly see available colors, and selecting a color updates the UI (name and/or image).
