Casual Job Board Platform Build
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
I’m building a web-based job board aimed at casual and gig-style work. Professionals will be able to publish their availability, while employers list open shifts or short assignments. Both sides remain anonymous at first, then pass through a four-step “identity unlock” sequence so they can decide when to reveal contact details and move the conversation off-platform only when both parties are comfortable.
Key flow
• Users sign up exclusively through email. Once inside, they complete a short profile that highlights skills, preferred locations, and upcoming availability.
• Employers create posts that specify shift dates, pay rate, and any special requirements.
• A built-in messaging system allows back-and-forth without sharing personal data. Each reply advances the interaction to the next unlock stage until full details are shared at step four.
I need the full feature set working end-to-end: secure email registration, profile management, shift/assignment posting, search & filter, the progressive identity-reveal logic, and real-time messaging. An admin dashboard for content moderation and user management must be included as well.
I’m open on the tech stack—modern frameworks such as React, Vue or similar on the front end and any robust back-end (Laravel, Node, Django, etc.) that can scale—but clean, Clean and well-documented code is non-negotiable. Able to run with Heavy database without compromising the Speed.
Deliverables
1. Responsive web application (desktop & mobile) with:
• Email-based sign-up / login
• User profiles
• Job/shift posting & searching
• 4-step identity unlock workflow
• Integrated messaging
2. Admin panel with role-based access
3. Source code in a private repo, build instructions, and a brief hand-off session
If you’ve shipped similar marketplace or matchmaking platforms before, I’d love to see them. Let’s create a seamless, privacy-first space for casual workers and the employers who need them.
