Carpet Store Billing Web App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for a carpet shop web-based billing application that fits the way it sells by the metre, roll, or custom cut. The core focus is fast invoice creation, while automatically updating stock levels and customer records in the background.
Key modules I must see at launch:
• Inventory management that supports multiple carpet styles, roll lengths, remnants, and real-time stock deductions when an invoice is saved.
• Customer management with searchable history of previous quotes, sales, and outstanding balances.
• Role-based access: Admin (full control), Manager (day-to-day operations, reports), and Staff (create invoices, look up stock).
I’m happy for you to choose the tech stack—Wordpress, Laravel, Django, Node, or another modern framework—as long as the final solution runs in any standard browser and includes a responsive UI. Security best practices (hashed passwords, protected APIs) and clean, well-commented code are expected so future features such as sales reports or SMS reminders can be added easily.
Please outline your proposed stack, timeline, and a quick note on how you will handle unit conversions and partial-roll tracking. A live demo or screenshots of similar work will help me decide quickly.
