Campus Lost & Found Marketplace
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Create a single, easy-to-use hub where our university community can do two things equally well: track lost property and trade second-hand items.
Students sign in with their campus credentials, post descriptions and photos of anything they have misplaced or discovered, and browse or purchase pre-loved goods from fellow students. University staff share the same streamlined experience, with the added ability to list their own used items for sale and file lost-item reports on behalf of others when needed.
Key deliverables
• Responsive web app (mobile-first) with separate Lost & Found and Marketplace sections under one account system
• Role-based access: Student and Staff dashboards with the permissions above, plus space in the codebase for a future Administrator role
• Simple search and filter, image upload, and real-time status updates (e.g., “claimed”, “sold”)
• Clean, intuitive UI consistent with modern campus branding
• Source code, database schema, brief deployment guide, and a short walkthrough video demonstrating core workflows
The project is complete when I can spin up the app, register as both user types, report a lost item, list a product, and see all status changes reflected instantly.
And i have done a proposal for more details.
Please draft a report for me using this attached report template. I need you to fill it out based on the project details we discussed.
