Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and efficient Web Developer to help with webpage programming, modifications, and ongoing maintenance on an hourly basis.
proficiency in using AI tools—specifically Claude.ai—to accelerate development, write clean code, and debug is a core requirement for this role. You should be someone who knows how to leverage AI to get things done faster and better, without sacrificing code quality.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, modify, and maintain front-end and/or back-end webpage features.
• Collaborate closely to translate project requirements into functional web pages.
• Use Claude.ai / LLMs efficiently to speed up coding, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Ensure web pages are responsive, well-structured, and bug-free.
Requirements:
• Strong experience in Web Programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Vue are a plus).
• Advanced AI Prompting Skills: Must be highly proficient in using Claude.ai (or GitHub Copilot/ChatGPT) to assist in daily coding tasks.
• Strong debugging skills (you must be able to understand, verify, and fix code generated by AI).
• Location: Based in Sydney preferred (for easier communication/time zone alignment), but open to remote work within Australia.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and a good communicator.
Compensation & Hours:
• Rate: Competitive hourly rate (Pay Hourly Rate) – negotiable based on experience.
• Hours: Flexible, task-based / part-time. Perfect for freelancers or university IT students.
