Build Social Networking Web Service -- 2

I’m launching a web-based social network and need an experienced developer to take it from concept to a live, scalable platform. The core build must include secure user registration and login, a real-time activity feed, follow/friend functionality, direct messaging, notifications, profile editing, and a simple admin dashboard. Responsive design is essential so the service feels seamless on phones, tablets, and desktops.

I’m flexible on the stack, though a modern front-end framework such as React or Vue paired with a robust back end (Node.js, Django, or similar) and an SQL or NoSQL database would be ideal. Clean RESTful (or GraphQL) APIs are important because I plan to introduce a companion Windows desktop client later, so please architect with that future integration in mind.

Deliverables
• Fully functional social networking site deployed to my hosting or cloud account
• Source code in a Git repository with clear README and setup instructions
• Basic automated test suite covering critical paths
• API documentation ready for the upcoming Windows desktop application

Before coding begins, I’d like a short project roadmap with milestones—MVP, beta, and polish—plus quick wireframes so we agree on flow and look. Security best practices (hashed credentials, input sanitization, HTTPS) and performance optimization should be baked in from the start.
